We know that being part of the hospital community as a Trainee is extremely important. During working hours that community is friendly and professional, offering support to peers and colleagues.

Professional Support

You will no doubt develop close working relationships with your colleagues; some resulting in lifelong friendships.

Outside working hours, we encourage that same community to come together, have fun and take time out to relax; something we strongly believe will help you achieve your goals.

Events

We plan a variety of social events that are inclusive and welcoming to anyone who wants to join them. Our events calendar includes mess nights, quizzes, summer and winter balls, reunion nights and the annual Consultants vs Trainees cricket match, plus much, much more. These events are advertised across the Trust via email and the intranet.
