“The cardiology training in Tunbridge Wells is very good, especially given that it caters for the training needs for a junior cardiology SpR perfectly. There are 3 interventional cardiologists, an imaging consultant who specialises in echocardiography and an associate specialist who delivers pacing therapy; all of whom are exceptionally supportive and are dedicated to teaching and training despite the pressures of service provision. There is also more than adequate CCU and outpatient clinic experience. On the whole, it is a great place to train and that is a testament to the wonderful work put in by all the consultants, nursing staff and other allied healthcare professionals who have made this a wonderful place to work.”
